How do I access my Email?

Accessing your email is essential for communication and managing your hosted domain's correspondence. Follow these instructions to set up and access your email account using either IMAP or POP3 protocols.

Incoming Mail Setup​

To receive emails, you can configure your email client using either the IMAP or POP3 protocol. Below are the settings you'll need:

IMAP is recommended as it allows you to synchronize your email across multiple devices and keeps your messages on the server.

  • Hostname: mail.yourdomain.com
  • Login: username@yourdomain.com
  • Alternative Login: username#yourdomain.com
  • Password: Your User Password
  • Port (secure): 993
  • Connection Security: ✅ SSL ("SSL/TLS")
  • Authentication Type: Password ("plain-text")
  • S/MIME: ❌ Disabled
  • IMAP Path Prefix: INBOX

POP3​

POP3 is suitable if you prefer to download emails to a single device and remove them from the server.

  • Hostname: mail.yourdomain.com
  • Login: username@yourdomain.com
  • Alternative Login: username#yourdomain.com
  • Password: Your User Password
  • Port (secure): 995
  • Connection Security: ✅ SSL ("SSL/TLS")
  • Authentication Type: Password ("plain-text")
  • S/MIME: ❌ Disabled

Outgoing Mail Setup​

For sending emails, configure the outgoing mail server settings as follows:

  • Hostname: mail.yourdomain.com
  • Login: username@yourdomain.com
  • Alternative Login: username#yourdomain.com
  • Password: Your User Password
  • Port (secure): 465
  • Connection Security: ✅ SSL ("SSL/TLS")
  • Authentication Type: Password ("plain-text")
